salary increment letter

Dear Sir:

I have just completed my second year here, and have never received a salary increment. Last year, I sent a letter requesting a salary increment, and your department approved it, informing me that I would get an increment after vacation. However, I have not received any further reply.

Will you please investigate this matter, so I can receive the salary increment that has been promised? I would appreciate it.
