1979 to TACOMA HIGH SCHOOL, Tacoma, WA present Chairperson, Mathematics Department, 1984 to present

·         In addition to responsibilities as Math Instructor, direct the Math Evaluation Committee for accreditation by the National Association of Schools and Colleges.

·         Develop evaluative report for submission to accreditation board; report details and assesses present and future goals, programs, plans and professional performance/development.

·         Select and approve all departmental texts; write course descriptions and upgrade as indicated.

·         Approve all purchases, justify expenditures and develop/monitor budget.

·         Provide input to the hiring/renewal process; evaluate staff teachers.
