Quit Job Letter

Introduction :

A Quit Job letter is written by an employee who wants to quit his job or resign from the company. The letter should be directed to the superior or the management with the reason for the decision to quit the job. It can be simple but politely written to avoid unpleasant consequences between employee and the company. A person may want to quit the job for several reasons like finding a work environment better than his current business, better opportunities, etc. However, it is his duty to inform his superiors about the same with a letter.

A quit job letter is a formal letter written by an employee who wishes to resign from the company. It should mention the reason behind the resignation and also keep the tone highly professional. Also, thank the company for giving you the opportunity to work with them. Once through the letter, check it for grammatical mistakes.

Dear Mr. Charles,

Subject : Quit Job Letter.

This letter is to inform you that I want to quit my job immediately. The job is taking a toll on my health. I have to stand 7 hours a day in the assembly line, and my feet are exhausted at the end of the day. After one month on the job, my back aches terribly.

The working hours are very taxing too. I am not able to adjust to the shift periods where some days I work regular hours like the office people and other days; I work nights. My body system cannot adapt to this kind of changes quickly. Hence, I have no choice but to quit immediately instead of harming my health further.

However, I would like to thank you for the opportunity for trusting me enough to select me for the job. However, I think my body isn’t fit for the same, and my health is suffering a lot. Because of this reason, the work to is suffering, and so I have decided to quit as my continuance isn’t fruitful for either of us.

I shall be serving the notice period of 14 days as per my contract and in the mean time, kindly make the settlements as needed.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thank you.

Yours Truly,

Graham Davidson.
