A Goodbye letter after resignation is written by an employee who has put in his resignation letter to the management. Once he is informed by the management that his resignation is accepted, he proceeds to write his goodbye letter to inform his colleagues. Dear Staff

I am writing to inform you that I have tendered in my letter of resignation and the management has accepted it. Hence, I am officially leaving the company with effect on December 31, 2016.

I apologize that I was unable to announce my resignation earlier as it is company policy not to make any resignation public until the management approves it.

Please allow me to say THANK YOU to each of you for your fine support and performance during my time here. I appreciate each of you in this division. I wish each of you the best success in your future endeavors, and I do hope that our paths shall cross after this.
