Emergency Medical and Surgical Service of the Capitol, Washington, D.C.
·         In conjunction with three other physicians, planned, organized and directed a free-standing emergency center. Center successfully grew to employ a support staff of 80, including associate physicians, nurses, technicians and administrative personnel.
·         Selected site, equipped, staffed, and expanded the Center into a total self-contained operations including: laboratory; x-ray; fluoroscopy; occupational medicine; emergency room; and other health care services. Center was on 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven-day week operation which serviced from 200-300 patients per day.
·         In addition to direct medical care, monitored financing, budgets, personnel and related business management activities.
·         In 1987, resigned and liquidated holdings to concentrate on rapidly growing private practice.
